I owned a home Improvement business since 1994 , a few year's ago I have a bad accident one after noon I was taken the man home from work by the Brown Spring Park. A teenager turn in to my work van trying to make a turn to get a parking spot of all things . Thank God the I was driving was a 1979 Work Van . Back then most Truck's and Van's where made with metal , I really think if it was not for that and the good Lord looking after us , we would not be here to day. That day changed my life in so many way's . All I use to do is work hard for my family and made sure they didn't wont for any thing. I would volunteer my company to do work for Charitable & Nonprofit Organizations . I always be leaved in given back to our community . Now I have been trying to do is get my social security disability benefits started , " It's only been two in a half years now". Please don't take this the wrong way but way is it win someone really need there disability benefits , the state takes for ever giving whats yours already but if you really don't need it and your are able to work , your check is on it way. Who knows right ? It's make me mad that I can't do what I use to do any more. I have brain injury , Back & spine injures , mini - seizures , The list goes on and on. My dog that we name hooch pulls me up and sometimes keep me from falling . I tell you something living like this is hard. I hate not being able to do for myself , having to ask for help. It make you feel like all I doing is asking for handouts , It's sad.
