I would like to give a loving safe home to a mastiff or mastiff mix. I had a lab/mastiff mix for 9 years and he pasted of old age last September. He is dearly missed on a daily bases. He was a member of my family. He had what some called issues. He didn't care for strangers mostly. But others do to his size believed him to be aggressive. He really (with his family) just wanted to be in your lab or at the lake. When he came into my life I never thought he would be such a big part of it.

I am wanting in his honor to save/rescue/help another dog of that breed. He isn't replaceable but a similar disposition. We have rescued a pitbull mix and he is the sweetest thing you could ask for but, my 6 year old has claimed him and for me I need that mastiff character. I have a good sized yard, live about 3 blocks from a lake and mostly alot of love. It is time to fill the gaping hole I have in my heart.

I would be greatful for any consideration. Would love to find a free dog. Not looking to breed or Amy of that. Just a companion.
